The SheEO™ Academy will be holding an educational event for girls at the Nottoway Park-Hunter House in Vienna.
Girl Boss - Build Her Soap Business is a program where girls aged 7 to 14 can learn entrepreneurial skills from experienced instructors. The camp is co-sponsored by the Fairfax County Park Authority and uses a combination of interactive activities, role-playing, and public speaking to teach participants business concepts. Campers will learn how to create, market, merchandise, and monetize real products. Those who complete the camp will get to leave with a business plan.
The SheEO™ Academy is an organization that wants to provide young girls with the necessary tools for becoming successful businesswomen and leaders. The group uses its programs to empower the potential CEO in every girl. DeShawn Robinson-Chew is the founder of the organization. The academy offers many Girl Boss camps, including the Build Her Jewelry Business and Build Her Slime Business. Young women may also earn badges from the organization by taking a 10-session class.
The program will be held from Monday, July 10 to Friday, July 14. Each session will take place from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. The cost to sign up for the Build Her Soap Business camp is $335 per student. Academies that coordinate summer programs such as this may use flyer printing for advertising their camps to people in their community.
