The Women’s Center in Vienna will hold an educational program in May about how to improve financial situations.
Money Matters: What You Need to Know is a presentation that teaches attendees about helpful tips for making smart financial decisions. The presenters of the lecture are Michael Reyes and Catherine Portner, two advisors with experience helping people improve their financial situations. Some topics covered in the lecture include how to create and use budgets, the effects of paycheck deductions, and financial safety. The workshop will be held in person.
The Women’s Center is a mental health provider that opened in 1974 and has expanded its reach to offer services to all types of clients. The mission of the company is to improve the mental well-being of all members in its community. More than 3,000 people are helped by the center each year. The nonprofit organization has branches in Virginia and Washington, DC. Rachna Krishnan is the center’s CEO, and Jimmie Roberson is the vice president.
The financial advice workshop will be held on Wednesday, May 1st from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm. General admission to the Women’s Center’s event will cost $20 per person. The organization will also have another money-related workshop called Mastering Your Money Mindset on April 30th. Nonprofits in charge of similar educational presentations can use printing services to promote their workshops.
