Vienna kids camp to provide summer entertainment

Green Hedges School in Vienna will be organizing a summer camp in June that will be open to the community.

Green Hedges Summer Camp 2021 is a seven-week program where children partake in activities designed for their developmental and social needs. The camp will include fun experiences such as cooking, outdoor play, music, and story time. Kids will also get to learn about science and create various crafts. The school will follow current pandemic-related guidelines to ensure the campers stay safe while in the program.

Green Hedges School was formed in 1942 by Frances Kilmer and Kenton Kilmer to provide children with a positive learning environment. The academy started with ten students and has now grown to accommodate 190 kids. The school offers courses for children from preschool to grade eight. People interested in supporting Green Hedges can donate online. Academies such as this can advertise their special events by creating Signs with printing services.

The summer camp will be held from June 14 to July 30 and will cost $475 per week for full-day sessions. Children can also enroll in half-day sessions for $315 each week. The program will last from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. People can leave their kids at Green Hedges for an additional hour for $80 per week. The camp director for the program is Allison Nichols.
