WinterFest on the Wisconsin will come back to Norfolk this year with a few new changes to the event.
WinterFest on the Wisconsin is a seasonal program that takes place on the famous Nauticus ship and throughout the surrounding marina. The decorations on the ship's deck will include illuminated tunnels, footbridges, and twinkling trees. Guests can enjoy many types of live entertainment, including visits from recognizable holiday characters and a puppet version of The Christmas Carol. There will also be magic shows and juggling acts at the event.
This year, the holiday program will include the Passport to the Holidays experience at the Mistletoe Marina. Visitors can make smores at a station beside the waterfront, and those who can legally drink may order craft alcoholic beverages at the event's bar. Hot chocolate and cider will be available to buy during the festival. Another new addition to the program is an outdoor holiday market. The organizers also promise to bring snow to the marina.
The winter festival will take place on select nights from November 10th to January 1st. General admission to the event is $18.50 per adult and $14.50 for kids ages 3-12. Members of the Nauticus will receive a discount on the festival. Those who organize recurring programs like this can use flyer printing to promote their new additions to the events.
