Tysons Corner, a city located near McLean, Virginia, is currently looking for a great voice to support Washington Nationals baseball team for the upcoming Labor Day game.
Those who would like to perform in front of the large crowd at the game are invited to participate by recording a video of themselves singing the National Anthem acapella. Out of the videos that are submitted, the top three chosen will have the opportunity to perform a live version in front of audience members and judges at the Ocean Park Standoff Concert at Tysons Corner Center Plaza on July 20. The judges will then decide which singer is the best based on a variety of criteria, and conduct a Facebook poll to determine the winner of the contest.
Interested individuals must submit a video to tysonsmallinfo@macerich.com no later than July 6 in order to participate in the contest. In addition, those who want to participate should also clear their schedules on July 20 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm and on September 3 from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm in the event that they are chosen for the top three or as the winner of the contest.
