A cultural celebration is coming to McLean next month with the goal of showcasing and celebrating all aspects of Latin American culture.
The Fiesta del Sol Festival will open its gates and welcome guests in McLean soon, celebrating the culture of Latin American residents and providing others in the community the chance to learn about it. The gathering expects to provide a memorable night of food, dance, and music straight from the Caribbean and Central and South America.
Live bands will provide the evening’s background soundtrack, covering genres such as merengue and salsa. A rum and tequila bar will also be open to guests 21 and over, serving refreshing beverages native to different Latin American cultures to keep the party going. Banner printing is a way to promote such events and welcome attendees to the host site, drawing positive attention to the event.
Food will also be available, with the highlight of the cuisine being a Tapas bar. Other cultural dishes can also be purchased, helping attendees expand their palates. Dance lessons will be held by top instructors, and local vendors will be at the festival to showcase their goods.
The cultural festival will be held at the McLean Community Center on Saturday, March 21st, from 5:00 to 10:00 PM. Tickets can be reserved online for free, and free parking is available.
