McLean sushi-making workshop adds flavor to life

A sushi-making workshop will be opening its doors in McLean this May, offering area residents the opportunity to learn new skills from an experienced chef.

The Sushi-Making with Chef Bemnet will be coming to a McLean venue soon with the goal of teaching enrollees all the steps and techniques used to create nutritious and flavorful sushi rolls at home. Students will enjoy an immersive and hands-on learning environment, with the workshop expected to last 2 hours.

It will be an authentic cooking experience where participants will get to enjoy a whole meal that they’ve prepared. All necessary ingredients and cooking tools are provided with the cost of enrollment. The class is open to beginners and will provide a relaxed setting where confidence can blossom. Printing services can add to the student experience at such events, providing participants with quality printed recipes and instructions.

All students must be 21 or older to participate. They are encouraged to wear comfortable and casual clothing for the cooking course. Early arrival is also appreciated, allowing time to get checked in. Refreshing beverages will be available for purchase throughout the workshop from the host venue’s menu.

The class will be held at Shipgarten in McLean, and is scheduled for Friday, May 15th, with the doors opening at 7:00 PM. Enrollment is open online for $66 per person.
