Taste of Oktoberfest is essentially a one-day course intended to provide instructions to those who wish to learn how to prepare various German dishes. Residents can participate in a hands-on cooking class that highlights some of the most well-known German foods.
Examples include potato and cheese soup, bratwurst croutons, ale-braised shallots, bratwurst sliders, and a dish of potato noodles known as Schupfnudel.
These classes will be hosted by local chefs who specialize in German cuisine, and two different seminars are being offered. One is taking place in the morning, and the other is scheduled for the evening.
One-off events focusing on smaller audiences will often use discrete advertising techniques to keep the public informed. Some options include banner printing, handing out Flyers that contain relevant contact information, and updating websites as more details become available.
McLean will be celebrating Taste of Oktoberfest on Wednesday, October 21st. The morning session is taking place between 10:30 AM, and 1:30 PM.
