Sweet event returns to McLean this winter

The 4th annual McLean Chocolate Festival is taking place in a couple of weeks’ time, raising funds for the Rotary Club of McLean.

There are expected to be 18 of the area's top chocolatiers on hand, and they will be providing samples of their sweet treats for a nominal price. There will be a children's game room in which volunteers from the Interact Club at McLean and Langley High Schools will host chocolate-themed games and Ukulele Phil will perform several times during the day. A refreshment room is also available so that visitors can enjoy some of their chocolate purchases while taking a seat.

Vendor spaces are still available and cost $75 each to those who sell chocolate-related products. Vendors can also purchase advertisements in the event program or a banner to be displayed during the festival. Organizers and vendors may invest in brochure or banner printing services from McLean Print companies to help recognize the event sponsors in these ways.

One quarter of the proceeds from this event will go to the Rotary Club to help it support local educational and charitable programs in the community.

The McLean Chocolate Festival is being held at the McLean Community Center on January 25 from 11:00 am - 5:00 pm. Admission is $2. To learn more, visit the official event website.
