The Elite Clubs National League is an organization that focuses on bringing on valuable players and developing their skills so that they can one day perform in college leagues or in professional soccer leagues. Unlike the majority of other soccer organizations, the ECNL also allows players to hone their skills for soccer and high school and they also train players who one day aspire to compete professionally in major competitions.
The executive director of McLean’s soccer youth leagues, Louise Waxler, said that there are now more than three million young soccer players in the country, adding:
“Young players and parents face a dizzying array of options. This is all about the kids. We share the sentiments of the incoming president of US Soccer has said about bringing America's soccer fragments together for the good of our players and the game."
