A Spring Solo Exhibition will be held from April 14 to June 11, 2022, and the McLean Project for the Arts is seeking solo exhibition proposals over the next few weeks.
Contemporary artists living in the Mid-Atlantic Region may submit project or exhibition proposals for display in the Atrium and Emerson Galleries. Submittable, an online submission system, will be used to enter proposals online. Applicants can visit mpaart.org for additional information. There is no submission fee.
A poster printing company can be particularly effective at advertising events that lasting more than a few days.
The McLean Project for the Arts curatorial team will review each exhibition proposal. In order for artwork to be considered, it must fit through a doorway that is 81” X 64”. Notifications will be sent via email regardless of whether or not an applicant’s proposal is selected.
Sales made as a direct result of the exhibit will incur a 25% sales commission, which the McLean Project for the Arts will retain. Prices typed on the image checklist will be the sales price unless a piece is marked NFS (Not For Sale).
The McLean Project for the Arts showcases the work of artists both established and emerging through high-quality art exhibitions.
Proposals must be submitted by January 7, 2022 in order to be considered for the spring exhibition.
