The ‘Be Fit McLean’ outdoor adventure expo is returning to the city this April.
A presentation of the McLean Community Center, the day will include music from bands such as Drymill Road and Circa Blue, a 30' rock climbing wall, food for purchase, and vendors selling outdoor-related merchandise. A ‘gear swap’ station will allow anyone to bring in gently used items to trade for something else, with objects expected to be available including bicycles, sleeping Bags, and tents.
Vendors will be selling everything from sports equipment to clothing, and non-profit organizations will also have information booths set up. Vendors can rent a 10x10 foot space for $100 or a 20x10 foot space for $190, while non-profit organizations can rent a 10x10 foot space for $20. They need to be quick though, as the deadline to rent space is March 22 and vendors must supply all of their equipment, including tables, chairs, and tents.
No doubt many of the vendors will be availing themselves of the services of McLean Print companies to prepare for the expo. Non-profit organizations will want to provide items like Brochures and Booklets to those who stop by their booths, meaning that an interested person can take the information home with them and possibly contact the organization at another time.
The 3rd annual Be Fit McLean expo will take place at the Old Firehouse on April 27 from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm. Admissions is $5 for adults, while children aged 12 and under are admitted free.
