City officials in McLean, Virginia have released the details about the community’s upcoming 4th of July celebration. As always, the city has said that they hope to produce a fun and family friendly event that allows residents to spend time with loved ones and meet new neighbors.
This year’s festivities will include family friendly music, DJ, and dancing. There will also be plenty of food trucks and other vendors that allow attendees to purchase 4th of July memorabilia. Fireworks will begin after dark.
Many local businesses will be at the event, and attendees are encouraged to get to know their community businesses and pick up Promotional Products from these establishments.
The event will take place on Saturday, June 29. Festivities will run from 6:30 pm – 10:00 pm. There is no charge or preregistration for admission, but attendees will have to spend more for food and to purchase other items that day. The rain date is the same time on June 30, and attendees should look to the website if there is any question about the weather that day.
The entire festival will be held at Langley High School, 6520 Georgetown Pike, in McLean. There will be onsite parking. If that parking is filled, there will be satellite parking and free shuttles. Officials have also announced that some activities – including smoking, alcohol, vaping, glass containers, personal fireworks, weapons and pets – are prohibited.
