Volunteers and officials from the McLean Rotary Club have announced that they will be hosting a chocolate festival this month.
The event is designed to help give community members access to the excellent chocolate available in the area, while also benefiting the McLean Rotary Club.
As noted by event organizers, the event will feature a variety of local chocolate vendors that will be selling their goods and distributing Promotional Products from their businesses. This event is designed for families or individuals who enjoy chocolate, and according to officials, will also feature live entertainment and a children’s game room.
Officials have said that the event is still being put together, meaning that there is no set vendor list yet. However, interested individuals can check out the event website for further information as the event draws closer.
The festival is to be held on Saturday, January 28, and will run from 11:00am to 5:00pm. The location for the event is to be the McLean Community Center, which is located at 1234 Ingleside Avenue in McLean. The Rotary Club has said that they will use the proceeds from this event to benefit local schools and other organizations for whom they raise money.
