McLean Day to offer residents carnival rides

McLean volunteers have announced upcoming details for the annual McLean Day celebration.

This community event will give everyone in McLean the opportunity to have a great time while also exploring local businesses and vendors.

There will be numerous events and community celebrations during the weekend of May 17 to May 18. Dozens of rides and games will be available to event attendees and their kids, particularly on the opening day. As always with carnivals, some height and weight restrictions apply. Tickets to the rides and games can be purchased at the event or bought online ahead of time.

Furthermore, local businesses, non-profits, and governmental organizations will be invited to set up exhibition booths, which is mainly for the second day. This portion of the event is free for individuals to attend, though there is a charge for exhibiting businesses. Business attendees will have the opportunity to give out Promotional Products for their business and let residents know who they are and what they do. Space is limited, so potential vendors are encouraged to reserve space as soon as possible.

The T.G.I.F. Carnival Rides part of the event will be on May 17 form 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm, then McLean Day itself follows on May 18 from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. The event takes place at 1659 Chain Bridge Rd. McLean, rain or shine. Sponsorships are available for both days of the event.
