McLean Day celebrates town's 110th birthday

McLean residents will have cause for celebrations next month, as a festival focused on the town’s 110th birthday is set to begin.

McLean Day 2025 is nearly upon area residents who are looking for a fun and safe place to celebrate the town’s birthday. The festival has been running since 1915 and is the biggest annual festival hosted by the city. Interested parties can enjoy a day with like-minded individuals while sipping beer and other beverages from local breweries and companies in the wine garden.

The event will provide live music throughout, providing the backing soundtrack to the day’s experiences and memories. Gourmet food trucks will also be at the celebration, ensuring all visitors can find snacks, meals, and more while supporting local brands. Flyer printing is a grassroots method for promoting such events in the community and increasing attendance.

Organizers are aiming to provide a family-friendly atmosphere with activities and rides for children to enjoy. A magician will attend, and kids will have access to a petting zoo to learn more about animals. Both small and carnival rides have been arranged, and ride tickets will be sold online and on-site to interested parties.

The McLean Day celebrations will be held in Lewinsville Park in downtown McLean on Saturday, May 17th, from 11:00 AM until 5:00 PM. Admission is free, and ride tickets are available online.
