Shipgarten – one of the more popular restaurants in the McLean, Virginia area – has announced they will be hosting a petting zoo. The event is set to be family friendly and create a fun opportunity for families to spend some time together.
Featuring a broad petting zoo, filled with many family-friendly animals, parents and kids alike are encouraged to attend the event and meet the local animals.
The event is also pet-friendly, meaning that dogs are welcome, and are welcome to wander off-leash at a nearby park.
In addition to the petting zoo, the event will allow local families to partake in arts and crafts, a show magic by Jeff the Great, face painting, a moon bounce, and more. There will also be football on TV for the adults who want to kick back and enjoy the game. Face painting, playground equipment and more will also be available, ensuring that kids of all ages will have plenty to do.
The event is on Sunday, January 7, and will run from 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm It is being held at Shipgarten, located at 7581 Colshire Drive, McLean, Virginia. While at the event, attendees are welcome to eat, drink, and pick up Promotional Products from the restaurant and other surrounding businesses. Admission is free, and while pre-registration is welcome, it is not required.
