McLean area gardens to light up the winter night

A McLean area attraction has been transformed into a wonderland of twinkling colorful lights, and the public is welcome to come out and explore its paths, fountain and other elements decorated in honor of the holiday season.

Even though most of the plants at Meadowlark Botanical Gardens will be enjoying their period of winter rest, the beds will still have lots to offer visitors. The displays in the garden’s Winter Walk of Lights change each year, and the event is a popular family friendly tradition for people in Northern Virginia.

Guests at the gardens can stroll along the paths, and the Fountain of Lights, the Holiday Nature Walk, Lakeside lights, and other displays are available for viewing. When it is time to warm up, the visitors can gather by the fire to roast marshmallows and enjoy a hot drink. It will be open throughout the evening hours, and the last ticket to enter is sold at 9:30 pm.

The walk is a self-guided event, and those who come out can go along at their own speed. Signage, pop up Banners and other items for this type of yearly event can be provided by an area printing services company.

Meadowlark’s Winter Walk of Light will be open to visitors until January 6. It can be found at 9750 Meadowlark Gardens Court in Vienna.
