International festival shares new beverages in McLean
McLean residents with an affinity for beverages from afar will want to save the date, as an international festival is in the works in town.
The International Bier, Wine, and Cider Festival invites interested parties and their children to a family-friendly cultural celebration. The festival will dovetail with Oktoberfest events being held at the host venue, providing various activities for the entire family to enjoy.
The organizers have arranged several competitions for interested parties to participate in at the festival, each with a prize for the winner. The competition will start with a pie-eating contest where contestants will try to clear a plate of whipped cream the fastest. The winner will receive a $25 gift card.
