Throughout December, Starbucks shops across the country, including three here in McLean, are offering free coffee to frontline workers.
According to a statement recently issued by Starbucks the company will provide a free, hot or cold coffee for the rest of 2020 to those on the frontline in the war against the COVID-19 pandemic. Here in McLean, the offer will be honored at each of the city’s locations: 1330 Chain Bridge Rd, 1438 Chain Bridge Rd, and 1610 Capital One Dr. North.
Virginia Tenpenny, Starbucks Vice President, explained the company’s decision in a news release:
"It has been an extraordinarily difficult year, especially for the frontline responders who are serving our communities. We want to show our deep gratitude for those who support and protect us every day with a small gesture of kindness and a cup of coffee."
Banner printing services can be instrumental in informing the public of a company’s public service or promotional campaign.
The offer is open to doctors, nurses, and hospital staff such as housekeepers, janitors, and security personnel, as well as police, firefighters, paramedics, dispatchers, pharmacists, public health workers, dentists and hygienists, all mental health workers, and active military.
To receive their free cup of coffee, customers will have to identify themselves as belonging to one of these groups of workers.
