Residents in McLean can take part in a rich cultural experience.
The Korus Festival celebrates Korean American heritage. Throughout the two-day event, there will be a wide variety of live entertainment, including music, dancing, and demonstrations. Attendees can also enjoy Korean food.
The two-day event will begin with an opening ceremony. Then, guests will be treated to a Korean traditional dance team performance. Attendees can also enjoy rap music and a taekwondo demonstration. Other bands and artists include ‘Screaming Monkey’, Dave Yoon, and Alan Z. Overall, there will be over 20 performances. The event will culminate with a festival finale featuring several performing artists.
When attendees are not enjoying performances and demonstrations, they can check out one of the 50 vendor, community, and retail booths. There will also be three different contests: a Gaeyo Pop Contest, a Talent Show, and an Arirang Contest. Each contest will offer cash and other prizes.
With more than 30,000 people expected to attend the event, it is likely vendors asked a Print company to create Business Cards and Brochures to pass out.
It all takes place on September 19 from 11:00 am until 9:00 pm and September 20 from 11:00 am until 8:00 pm.
