Local officials and volunteers have announced the dates of the annual McLean Holiday Arts & Crafts Festival.
This event is designed to give residents in and around McLean the chance to check out local businesses and buy unique personal and Corporate Gifts.
A fixture in the area for more than 40 years, the event will offer more than 80 regional artists. Individuals will be able to get a variety of gifts, including unique jewelry, art, glassware, and mixed media. Event organizers note that the timing of this event is meant to allow attendees the chance to buy something different for the holiday season, and many of the gifts available at this fair are not available anywhere else, including over the internet.
The event will be held over a three-day period from December 1 to 3, opening 11:00 am to 6 pm on December 1, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm on December 2, and 11:00 am to 4:00 pm on December 3. Tickets are $5, with that price covering all three days of the show. Kids under 12 may attend free of charge. The event will take place at the McLean Community Center, which is at 1234 Ingleside Avenue in McLean.
