Business expo returns to McLean this fall

The annual Suits and Sneakers networking event is taking place this October, presented by the Greater McLean Chamber of Commerce.

In addition, the Business and Community Awards will be presented. These awards include such honors as Non-profit of the Year, Community Service, Citizen of the Year, and the Environmental Awareness Award. The names of the winners are available in full on the Chamber's website.

Guests will be able to watch chef demonstrations, try signature cocktails, and sample beer and wine. There are also set to be business exhibits, a silent auction, and a raffle. Musical entertainment will be provided by Bristol Sounds.

Among other activities, guests can get hair extensions to support Pink Hair for Hope. These cost $10 each and proceeds benefit the fight against breast cancer.

Sponsorships are available for local businesses, and there are still some openings for exhibitors. Those interested should contact the Chamber to find out how much each costs.

As this is one of the largest networking events for the Greater McLean Chamber of Commerce, local business card printing companies are bound to receive a few orders from those who are planning to attend.
