The McLean Winterfest parade and celebration is taking place this December. Proceeds from this event will benefit Share of McLean.
Old Chain Bridge Road will be closed from Fleetwood Road to Elm Street for the parade, which attracts marching bands, musical entertainment, community groups, floats, and vehicles, many of which are sponsored by local businesses. Miss McLean will also be making an appearance. Of course, the main draw of the parade will likely be the arrival of Santa Claus.
Sponsorships are available from $100 up to $2,500; sponsors will be recognized on logo Signs, podium speeches, and signage on the show mobile that will travel the parade route. They will also be given attention on the Winterfest official website.
Share of McLean is an organization that provides help to the less fortunate in the community. It provides a food pantry, clothing and linens, furniture, transportation, and other family assistance.
It is likely that many of those who will be participating in this McLean parade will be contacting local banner printing companies in advance. A banner carried by a community group or hung on a float will provide advertising for local businesses.
