The United Way NCA annual community meeting and Non-profit Expo will be held next month in the capitol.
The event draws regional non-profit and business representatives to discuss the importance of community organizations.
The day will start off with breakfast and then will be followed by several speakers. Those who will be speaking at this year’s meeting include Rosie Allen-Herring, Peter York and Timothy Johnson. A panel discussion will be taking place on how to measure the impact of non-profit organizations on society and those who need help.
The expo will feature many non-profit organizations that will be providing information about their services and the resources that they offer. Some of those who will be appearing at this year’s event include The Washington Post, the Foundation Center DC and the ChargeUp Collaborative.
The breakfast will give attendees the opportunity to network with the leaders of organizations they may want to do business with.
The exhibitors, who will come from all around the region including nearby McLean, may decide to invest in banner printing services to bring more attention to their booths.
The United Way NCA annual community meeting and Non-profit Expo will be held on July 19 at the Catholic University of America in Washington DC from 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM. Tickets are $30 each. Contact the United Way at 703-288-3219 to learn more.
