The 7th annual Suits and Sneakers Business and Community Awards gala is being held next month. It is a presentation of the Greater McLean Chamber of Commerce.
Members of the public had until September 9 to vote for the company or individual who they felt was most worthy of recognition. Some of the awards that will be handed out during the evening are the Community Leadership Award, Nonprofit of the Year, Collaborative Impact Award, Restaurant of the Year, and Outstanding Business Citizen.
In addition to the awards, there are set to be chefs’ demonstrations and samples, wine and beer sampling and a silent auction. There will also be musical entertainment and a 50/50 cash raffle. Several local businesses will be on hand to showcase their products and services.
There will be many opportunities for attendees to network with their business and community peers. To make that networking easier, it is likely that all of those planning to attend this McLean event will be bringing along their custom Business Cards.
The Suits and Sneakers Business and Community Awards will be held at The Pavilions at Turkey Run on October 4 from 6:00 to 9:30 PM. Tickets for members are $45 each or $80 for two, and for nonmembers $60 or $100. Call 703-356-5424 to learn more.
