Annual art festival at McLean Central Park in early October

Thousands of people, many accompanied by children, will converge on McLean Central Park for MPAartfest 2018.

This family-friendly event is perfect for art lovers as well as those just looking for an outing with the kids. It sees McLean Central Park become an outdoor art gallery with approximately 40 artists’ booths showcasing various types of art.

The festival has something to interest every member of the family, including woodturning, painting, contemporary ironwork, and jewelry. If previous years are any indication, between 5,000 and 6,000 people will show up for the event and they won’t go hungry.

Commonly, a poster printing order that details food choice and activities, as well as the time and date, are displayed in numerous businesses for this type of event.

For those old enough to imbibe, Café Beret will offer wine and beer from The Wine Outlet.
