Mathnasium, an international franchise of learning centers, will hold a math camp next month. The camp will take place in Reston, but Herndon families can also enroll their children.
The camp is titled Multiplication Madness and will revolve around teaching multiplication in entertaining and effective ways. Students will learn strategies they can use to multiply effectively so that they will not have to rely on memorization.
Students will work in small groups led by an instructor. To assist in this learning process, Mathnasium has prepared activities and games for students to enjoy. Materials for these activities are usually produced with the help of Print shops, so entrants will not need to bring their own.
The camp is aimed at students from grades two to five, but Mathnasium welcomes students from all grade levels. The event is limited to 12 students, and participants must wear face masks and maintain social distancing. Participants will also have their temperatures taken at the door.
The camp will happen on two different days. The first is on April 3, and the second day will be on April 24. Each day will take place between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM. Registration for the camp is $20. The learning center is located at 1424 North Point Village Drive. Anyone with more questions can call the center at (571) 401-1319.Get a Free Quote for Print
