NatureFest, a Herndon festival that focuses on connecting residents with local nature, will be held soon, and will be co-hosted by the area’s Parks and Recreation Department and the Friends of Runnymede Park.
Stations will be set up in the park that lead visitors through its natural beauty. These stations will include crafts, wildlife visitors, educational events, and hands-on activities. According to the state’s events website, the stations will include information about honey bees, macro-vertebrates, recycling, and butterflies. Both face painting and arts and crafts projects will also be available.
Those who are interested in volunteering are asked to contact the Friends of Runnymede Park directly. Companies sometimes choose to send volunteers to an event while wearing clothing that includes their Logo Design. This allows them to be seen in the community as providing a service and giving back, and can boost brand recognition and company reputation.
NatureFest will be held in Runnymede Park this Sunday, September 24. The event will go from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Parking is available, but limited, so visitors are encouraged to carpool, walk, or take a free shuttle from the Herndon Police Station, 397 Herndon Parkway, to take visitors to and from Runnymede park during the hours of 1-5pm. To find out more about the event, contact the Friends organization directly.Get a Free Quote for Logo Design
