The Fourth of July Celebration is taking place next month in Herndon. It is presented by the Town of Herndon Parks and Recreation Department.

This is an evening celebration that will have plenty of activities to offer to people of all ages.

With family games to play, bingo and children’s arts and crafts activities, there will also be a balloon artist on hand to entertain. Food and drink will be available for purchase throughout the evening.

Guests will also be entertained by the band E3 which performs cover versions of some of the best-known and loved songs. The public is advised to bring their own blanket or lawn chair to enjoy the concert.

At approximately 9:30 PM, there will be a fireworks display choreographed to music. If it rains the fireworks display will take place on July 5.

Parking is available at various surrounding places such as Herndon Middle School, Herndon Community Center and Herndon Centennial Golf Course. Some roads will be closed off during the fireworks.

Herndon Print shops are often asked to provide materials such as Banners and signage to organizers of events like this.

The Fourth of July Celebration will be held at Bready Park softball field on July 4 from 6:30 to 9:30 PM. Admission is free. For more information, contact Parks and Recreation and 703-787-7300.
