Annual craft fair to bring month to a close

The 12th Annual St. Joseph’s Craft Fair will be held at the Parish Hall in Herndon later this month. As in previous years, the fair will have a large variety of crafts and entertainment for the entire family.

Organizers of the event have solicited vendors from all over in an effort to ensure there is something for everyone. The vendors participating in the fair will likely have Brochures and Flyers that shoppers can take home to use as a reference for future shopping needs.

Entertainment will be available, including face painting, a pumpkin decorating contest, and a spinning wheel. Attendees will also be able to participate in a raffle, which will include items donated by the crafters attending the event, as well as local businesses.

A kettle corn tent, barbeque food truck, and pastries are among the many items available to attendees for refreshments.

There is ample parking and the Parish Hall is handicap accessible. Proceeds from the event will benefit food outreach programs in the community. Organizations such as Backpack Bag Meal project will receive funds to help feed children at Herndon schools, as well as local families and homeless shelters.

Volunteer opportunities are still open, and those interested should contact the organizers. The fair will be held on Saturday, October 29th from 8:30am – 3:30pm. St. Joseph Parish Hall is located at 750 Peachtree Street.
