Western Fairfax Christian Ministries (WFCM) is hosting its 6th annual golf fundraising event in Chantilly this spring.
The Spring Into Action Golf Tournament will use a best-ball format, which allows newer golfers to rely on their teams and more skilled golfers to compete with each other. Participants will receive a boxed breakfast as well as snacks and beverages from a cart during the game. Check-in will begin at 7:30 am, and golfers will tee off at 8:30 am.
Those interested in participating should email WFCM at donorsupport@wfcmva.org to sign up by April 29. The cost is $170 per golfer. Businesses interested in sponsorship opportunities should also contact WFCM by email. Non-golfers are welcome to sign up for the barbecue lunch, which will take place from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm. Attendees can expect networking and conversation during the lunch. Golfers often exchange Business Cards during networking sessions.
Funds raised during the event will support WFCM, a nonprofit organization that works with individuals and families in Fairfax County who are experiencing hunger or homelessness. Services include both financial assistance and food, and are available to those of any age or religion.
Now in its sixth year, the event will take place on Monday, May 13 from 7:30 am to 2:30 pm at Chantilly National Golf and Country Club.
