Gardening workshop promotes green space in Orem
Orem residents who want to put their green thumbs to work are in luck, as a pumpkin and succulent arranging workshop is coming to town.
The Pumpkin and Succulent Arrangement workshop, which is being organized by Sun River Gardens, is preparing to welcome participants to an immersive workshop that teaches the skills to make impressive arrangements at home. Guests will be able to add to their seasonal decor with a long-lasting piece featuring an heirloom pumpkin, moss, and succulents.
Students will learn how to create the arrangement without cutting into the pumpkin, allowing it to stay fresh and last much longer. All supplies and materials will be provided by the organizer and are built into the cost of enrollment. The heirloom pumpkins will all be around 11 to 12 inches in diameter. Printing services can provide the resources to print instructions for a seamless learning experience at such workshops.
Pumpkins will range in color, including green, pale blue, red, and orange. Moss and small berries will also be included to provide colorful embellishments for the arrangement. The classes have limited space, and interested parties are encouraged to make reservations while spots remain.
The workshop will be held at 1248 N. State Street in Orem on Saturday, October 11th, from 9:00 to 11:00 AM. Tickets are available for purchase online for $80.
