San Antonio education space hosts tasty festive event
A local venue focused on food-related education is ringing in the holiday season with a late November event.
Central Market Cooking School San Antonio is a business which aims to make food less intimidating through interactive lessons. This event adds a seasonal/holiday themed twist. Make & Take is a type of experience where attendees are able to go through the class, and then bring the product home with them. Participants of this activity will get to put their unique flair on a gingerbread house, a popular tradition among families.
Instructors from the school will be present to oversee the event, as well as provide different tips/options for methods and styles to decorate the houses. Everyone will get to mix their own royal icing. Alongside the structures, the venue will provide candy and other edible decor for everyone to use. Boxes will be handed out to make transport easier once everything is done.
Tickets are sold using Eventbrite and come in two versions. A solo ticket is $80. There is also an option for two people to share one of the houses, with the price being $48 per individual person, meaning a pair would need to buy two tickets. Children must have an adult participating with them.
A selection of seasonal drinks, which are non-alcoholic, will be accessible for all attendees. Many locally run events use promotion techniques such as flyer printing. The festive and tasty experience is taking place from 12:00pm to 1:30pm on November 30th.
