A celebrity with 25 years of experience in his field is retiring after one last run. A mid-July show in San Antonio will be a part of that trip.
Professional wrestler John Cena is taking a step back from his in-ring involvement in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) at the end of 2025. He is preceding this with a number of appearances and matches. Over the course of 25 years, Cena has won the title of WWE World Champion 17 times, which is more than any other wrestler. He has an acting career too, and has worked on such projects as “Peacemaker,” “Fast X,” “Bumblebee,” and “Argylle.”
WWE will be bringing its Friday Night SmackDown show to San Antonio’s Frost Bank Center. This will mark Cena’s final appearance in the city as an active wrestler. The card is always subject to change, some the talent currently on the SmackDown roster includes superstars such as Tiffany Stratton, Aleister Black, Cody Rhodes, Alexa Bliss, Damian Priest, Charlotte Flair, Jacob Fatu, Chelsea Green, Randy Orton, and LA Knight.
Tickets and VIP bundles range from $101.45 to $1,257.50, with fees included. Wrestling shows make merchandise for the brand, often helped by Print shops. These items will commonly have the company’s logo printed somewhere on them.
The event will be starting at 6:30 pm on Friday, July 18, having originally been scheduled for June 6.
