San Antonio heads down Sesame Street

Characters from a long-running television show will be taking a trip to San Antonio for a late June event.

Sesame Street Live is the stage show division of popular kids’ TV brand. A new production is hitting the road in the form of Elmo’s Got the Moves, which features classic hits from the show like “Sunny Days.” Elmo and some of his friends will dance and sing along with the crowd.

Other Forms of movement will also be showcased, such as cartwheels, jumping rope, and yoga. Families will all be able to take part in the cheerful and educational experience, with the moves being simple enough for young children, yet still fun for adults.

Characters included in the stage production include Elmo, Cookie Monster, Oscar the Grouch, Abby Cadabby, Grover, and Big Bird.

Tickets for the performance are being sold through San Antonio Events. With service fees included, the price per ticket ranges from $66 to $451.

The venue for the event will be the HEB Performance Hall, which is a part of the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts. Many shows aimed at a child audience will use flyer printing as a promotion technique.

The San Antonio performance will be starting at 2:00 pm on Sunday, June 28. The show is an hour long, not including a 20-minute intermission.
