San Antonio features pair of multi-talented stars

A late January show is bringing two performers to a San Antonio audience.

The Best of Steve Martin & Martin Short is a tour featuring the titular talents. The longtime friends use their history and experiences to poke fun at each other, as well as the industry they have spent decades working in. The show is a blend of these personal stories and the pair’s skillful comedic delivery, giving attendees a unique and funny evening of entertainment.

Steve Martin is a comedian, actor, musician, author, and producer. Amongst his film and television credits are works such as “The Pink Panther,” “Only Murders in the Building,” “The Prince of Egypt,” “Father of the Bride,” “The Muppet Show,” and “Little Shop of Horrors.”

Martin Short is a producer, actor, comedian, and writer. Within his filmography are credits like “Only Murders in the Building,” “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom,” “The Addams Family,” “Treasure Planet,” “The Prince of Egypt,” and “Innerspace.”

The tour will also include sets from The Steep Canyon Rangers and Jeff Babko. Tickets are available through the venue’s website, as well as the resale site StubHub. Via the venue’s page, tickets cost between $145 and $784. These prices include the site’s service fee.

The San Antonio show will be held at the Majestic Theatre. Many touring performers will hire a business with a specialty of graphic design to create imagery that they will use on merchandise which is sold to the crowds at each venue. The performance is scheduled for an 8:00pm start on January 29th.
