San Antonio plans public Pollinator Party

This fall, San Antonio will be celebrating the season with a function that will shine a light on the pollinators that call the local area home.

Everyone is invited to “bee” on the guest list for the Pollinator Tea Party, which will show how important pollinators are. It will be a free activity, and there will be plenty of hands-on fun.

Those who attend the festivities will find out how humans depend on pollinators for their food supply and the importance of ensuring there are healthy ecosystems will be stressed. The learning will be enhanced by an assortment of activities such as a scavenger hunt, a “critter cafe” and adoption of a shade or fruit tree. Guests can also learn about the Mushroom Maker Bioluminescent Trail. All ages may find the function interesting, and they will be able to purchase food on site.

Businesses and community service organizations that care about protecting the environment often turn to local Print companies for the products and services they need. They can supply an assortment of “green” options, ranging from Business Cards to Banners, as well as in house graphic design work.

The San Antonio River Foundation will be hosting its pop-up Pollinator Party on October 10th at Confluence Park. Its listing includes a ticketing link as well as the chance to donate to the San Antonio River Foundation.
