Music star production to run until early June

A show based on the life and discography of a popular musician will be wrapping up its stay about a month from now. The production is sure to entertain San Antonio area residents.

Beautiful: The Carole King Musical shares tales covering many of the singer-songwriter’s life stages and career achievements.

King co-wrote her first hit record with her then-husband, Gerry Goffin, when she was just 17 years old. The track, “Will You Love Me Tomorrow,” was recorded by The Shirelles. King and Goffin penned songs for many artists that have remained popular since.

Now 83 years old, King remains an active musician and has earned many of the highest honors within the entertainment industry. These include Grammys, lifetime achievement awards, a Kennedy Center Honor, and places in a number of halls of fame.

Beautiful: The Carole King Musical will be at Wonder Theatre from May 16 until June 8. The venue is located in Balcones Heights, which is a few miles from San Antonio. Tickets for all performances range from $18 to $32. Purchases are available through the website for Wonder Theatre. Poster printing is a commonly hired service in the promotion process of musicals like this.

The start times are 7:00 pm for most showings, with 3:00 pm shows available on some Sundays during the play’s run.
