San Antonio celebrates Day of the Dead with special display

A San Antonio business will be honoring a culturally significant holiday with a unique event in late October.

The Day of the Dead River Parade is an event that is hosted by The Westin Riverwalk, which also acts as one of the venues. The other venue is Zocca Cuisine D’Italia.

The display will see a number of floating platforms decorated to fit the “Day of the Dead” theme. Performers dressed in costume will also stand and move around on each float, adding to the spectacle.

There are five levels of VIP experiences available. Each offers different perks, with prices ranging from $160 to $2,200. A full, detailed list of what is included is available via Eventbrite. Parking with a valet can be purchased for a cheaper rate prior to the event on the same site, with this cost being $30. General admission has a price of $85.

Day of the Dead is a celebration in Mexican culture that allows people to visit with their ancestors while enjoying music, dancing, drinks, and food.

There are three varying Menus depending on admission levels. Each has a variety of delicious Mexican cuisine inspired dishes. Drinks are also available for those of legal age. Flyer printing is popular for the advertisement of locally put together events. The meal and show will run between 6:00pm and 9:00pm on October 24th.
