The Rockwall Community Playhouse will be accepting auditions this year for the 2020 Rockwall’s Got Talent Show at the Utley Middle School Cafeteria.
Those who wish to audition must first register and pay a fee of $20 per act. No child under the age of five may be entered.
Each entry group includes the two options to register either as a solo performer or as a team of 10 members or fewer. The division categories include novelty, instrumental, vocal, and dance. No winners of the previous 2018 Rockwall’s Got Talent are permitted to enter. Poster printing is often used by organizers of such events to effectively spread the word.
Each audition will last three minutes or less. The routine performed by each individual or group during their auditions will be repeated on the day of the semi-finals. All groups and individual participants will perform a unique routine on the day of the finals.
Three cash prizes will be awarded to the top winners on the day of the finals. The overall winner will receive $1,000, the second place winner $500, and the third place winner $250.
The audition is set to take place on Saturday, January 18 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Utley Middle School cafeteria. The semi-finals will take place on Friday, January 24 and the finals will conclude on January 25.
