Rockwall event highlights Easter

A late March event is taking place in Rockwall to get people in the mood for the upcoming Easter holiday and change of season.

Spring Eggstravaganza is an event put together by city officials to mark Easter. The experience includes an Easter Egg Trail, vendors, games, activities, music, and bouncy castles. The party is a family-friendly event open to everyone in the community.

Vendors will be local artisans and businesses, allowing attendees to explore more of what their area has to offer while in one place. All of the booths will have their own eggs for guests to collect as they browse around and enjoy the festivities.

The venue is The Harbor, with several public areas to park around the space, although attendees are asked not to use spaces meant for customers of retail stores. Addresses for the open parking locations are available on the event’s page on the city’s website.

Attending the Rockwall event is free for everyone. The Spring Eggstravaganza will have activities open between 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm. Many vendors at similar events will have promotional gifts made to give something fun out to the guests who stop by their booth. These objects can help make the vendors providing them stand out in the minds of potential customers.

The date for the special event is Saturday, March 28.
