Rockwall event returns for annual festivities

An early December event is coming back to Rockwall to entertain residents.

The 4th Annual Christmas on the Farm event is an experience hosted and organized by Summerfield and Sarah Naylor, combining holiday spirit and farm life.

Guests can enjoy a number of winter- and holiday-geared activities such as snowball fights, themed craft projects, story time featuring Mrs. Claus, and photos with Santa Claus.

Families and pets are welcome to attend the experience. Pets must be on a leash and well behaved. Included in the perks offered by organizers is a free printed picture, which will be 4” by 6” in size. Pets in attendance are also able to pose in pictures along with their humans.

The venue for the Rockwall event is Tate Farms. Crafts are free for kids to take part in and will be at the farm’s Historic Chapel. There will be snowball fights at 4:00 pm, 5:00 pm, and 6:00pm, along with a small market full of food trucks and vendors selling goods to guests.

Attending the 4th Annual Christmas on the Farm is free for all, although the event organizers ask attendees to RSVP through Prekindle so they are able to prepare enough crafting materials and snowballs for everyone to participate. Flyer printing is a popular promotion technique for many holiday activities.

The event will run between 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm on Saturday, December 6.
