A studio in Rockwall will be presenting an expressive and exciting class in mid-February.
Turtles Love is a lesson offered by Painting with a Twist. This particular event is one of their child friendly activities, meaning artists aged six or older are welcome. In some cases, kids who are aged five may also be permitted. Students will be led by a skilled teacher as they create an image of a happy sea turtle with a heart-shaped shell on an ocean-themed backdrop. This will be on a piece of canvas measuring 16”x20”.
Participants who are at least 21 years of age may bring an alcoholic beverage, provided they are responsible and assist staff in keeping the environment of the lesson safe.
Kids are allowed to attend alone, as long as guardians provide the venue with a reliable number to reach them on. Adults can also request a seat that does not include participating if they would rather watch their kids paint. This must be done during the initial purchase of tickets.
Admission to the event costs $35. Purchases can be completed through the company’s website, where those interested are also able to buy kits of supplies to craft other paintings at home after picking them up from the Rockwall location. Flyer printing is often used in order to promote similar creative experiences. The class is set to run from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm on Friday, February 10.
