An art studio located in Rockwall is going to be hosting a lesson as part of its child friendly programming in mid-July.
Twist Kids Camp! Blue-Bear-y is a painting experience in which the young painters work with a teacher to create their own piece of art of a smiling blue teddy bear with a trio of blueberries on its head. The picture will be put onto a canvas that is 16 inches by 20 inches in size.
Although these activities are typically limited to participants who are age six and up, some children who are five may be able to enjoy and partake in the lesson.
This event is one in a week’s worth of “Kids Camp” classes. Parents can choose to sign up for just this one or the whole week. The price for the one lesson is $35, and the week-long rate is $155. Both can be purchased by going to the venue’s site online, or by calling the venue.
Any adult choosing to just drop off one or more kids is required to give a staff member a number for contact before leaving the premises. Flyers are sometimes printed with an eye-catching graphic design in order to bring awareness to artsy activities like this.
