The Kiwanis Tri-Rock Triathlon is scheduled to take place in Rockwall this August.
Hosted by Playtri, this athletic event welcomes participants ages 13 and older. The triathlon will feature a 5K running course, a 13-mile biking course, and a 300 meter pool swim. Rockwall locals who cannot attend the physical event can still participate in the virtual triathlon and use fitness apps to track their race progress during the 5K run or the 13-mile bike and send their photos to Playtri.
Up until July 10, registration fees are priced at $69 per person for the sprint triathlon, $99 for the sprint triathlon relay, and $49 per individual for the virtual triathlon. Participants who register prior to July 13 will receive T-Shirts. From July 11 to July 31, registration costs $79 per person for the sprint triathlon and $109 for sprint relay. Last-minute registration after July 31 will cost $89 per individual and $119 per team.
All event proceeds will support Rockwall’s Kiwanis Club, a non-profit organization that helps children in need throughout the community through various projects and services. The use of poster printing is often involved in the organization of fundraiser events as an effective promotional tool.
The triathlon is set to occur at the Rockwall ISD Aquatic Center on Sunday, August 2 from 7:15 am to 11:15 am.
