An art studio in Rockwall will be giving families and other attendees an opportunity to share a unique painting lesson featuring a mythical creature in early January.
Family Painting: Dragon Family, is a class hosted by the studio Painting with a Twist. There are four different options for the style of painting. These include dragons featuring various color palettes and styles. This experience is open to those who are aged six or older. Kids who are aged five may also attend if parents feel they will be able to sit through the 90-minute activity. Guardians are allowed to request a “non-painting” seat if they wish to attend with their child instead of dropping them off, but do not want to paint. Flyer printing will often be arranged as part of the promotion of similar activities.
Those who are of the legal drinking age are allowed to bring alcohol and ice, although the venue asks that they keep the environment family friendly. Cups will be available to hold the drinks. Food is also permitted.
Tickets will cost $32 each. The lesson will last from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm on January 2nd. It is recommended that attendees arrive between 15 and 30 minutes prior to the starting time of the event, and provide at least two days’ notice if they need to cancel.
