A studio located in Rockwall is bringing a festive spin to an event with a tropical theme in mid-December.
Painting with a Twist is a business focused on casual instruction in the art of painting. The goal is to offer events that offer a fun experience for the participants, while also allowing the community to unleash its creative side.
Christmas Palm Tree! is an activity that is only available for adults. Attendees will create includes a mix of calming blues, warm yellows, natural tones, and a few bright colors, which will be layered together to decorate a tree with a variety of ornaments. Participants will receive instruction from a member of the studio’s staff, who will work with the class as a whole, as well as helping individual painters from time to time.
Admission varies by the base material, with the options being two sizes of a board of wood planks and two sizes of canvases. The boards are $49, while the canvas options are $39. For another $20, a scented candle craft is available, although those interest in this need to arrive by no later than half an hour before the main lesson. Anyone 21 and up is able to bring their own alcohol. Outside snacks are also permitted. Many studios advertise using methods such as flyer printing.
The event is taking place between 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm on Saturday, December 14.
