A studio based in Rockwall is hosting a family-oriented art class with an inspiration drawn from pop culture in early August.
No Ghosts Here! is a Painting with a Twist event, which is a part of the Twist Family! programming. The piece participants will be creating evokes a familiar image from the film franchise “Ghostbusters,” while also using more simplified and softer elements to make the finished artwork more cutesy and easier for younger artists to accomplish.
As one of the lessons open to kids as young as six, this experience is perfect for family bonding, or a fun activity for friends. Individuals can also give it a go. While kids will be present, those aged at or over 21 are still permitted to bring ice and alcoholic drinks, as the studio is BYOB. It is important to ensure the safety and family friendly vibe of the event at the same time though, so this should be kept in mind.
There are two sizes of canvas available for the class, 16”x20” and 12”x12”. The price to attend is the same for both options, which is $35. Tickets are sold on the website for PwaT and its Rockwall venue. Flyer printing is a popular form of promotion for events relating to the arts. The class is taking place from 5:00pm to 6:30pm on August 9th.
