A creative venue will be running a charity event to benefit two organizations in Rockwall in early August.
Paint Your Pet is an activity where attendees at the Painting with a Twist (PwaT) studio are able to make an image of a beloved animal from their life while also having the chance to socialize with other art and animal lovers. This event is also a “Painting with a Purpose” experience. Some proceeds will be donated to both the SPCA and the DWF NACE Chapter. A pair of skilled teachers will be on hand to help all the painters capture the chosen pet.
Guests who wish to do so are permitted to bring along alcoholic drinks and participate in the Happy Half Hour, but they must keep in mind that people who are under the drinking age may also be in attendance during the lesson. The activity is limited to adults (age 18 and older).
Canvases are available in two sizes, both going for $60. The options are 12”x12” and 16”x20”. For an additional $20 cost, buyers can also make their own scented soy candle. The experience will take place on Thursday, August 3, running from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm
